Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior IT Administrator to serve as the first line of support for internal technical issues.
The role involves hands-on responsibility for user access, device configuration, and system-level troubleshooting.
You will work closely with developers, designers, and operational teams to maintain a secure and smooth technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage access and enforce secure password policies across all systems.
Implement and maintain Access Control Management systems to ensure appropriate user authorization.
Support secure credential lifecycle through Password Management tools and practices.
Respond to internal technical queries, covering hardware, software, and network support.
Configure, install, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
Provide onboarding and offboarding IT support, including provisioning systems and access control.
Assist with network setup and troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and IP configurations.
Apply antivirus and system updates regularly to maintain endpoint security.
Help maintain IT inventory, software licensing, and asset tagging.
Coordinate with hardware vendors for procurement and servicing.
Assist in setting up AV equipment, conference rooms, and internal events.
Support implementation of IT security best practices, backups, and infrastructure health monitoring.
Technical Requirements
Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Understanding of IT infrastructure basics, user support, and asset management.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and network issues.
Good understanding of credential and access management practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Strong interest in IT infrastructure and system administration.
Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional tech environment.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Google Workspace, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and IT ticketing tools.
Familiarity with remote desktop support systems and IT service practices.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Fundamentals.
