Job Description:
EduGorilla is looking for a Junior Python Developer to work on its proprietary backend technologies. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and be ready to contribute to the development of advanced features, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of existing services. You'll be responsible for collaborating with different teams, ensuring the quality and timely release of projects, and managing bug reports and feature requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance backend features for EduGorilla's proprietary technologies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the performance of services.
- Develop and manage efficient databases and applications.
- Conduct technical team meetings to track progress and solve challenges.
- Ensure timely and high-quality project releases.
- Handle bug reports and feature requests via email.
- Collaborate with department heads to achieve project goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Python.
- Expert knowledge of at least one Python web framework (e.g., Tornado, Django, Flask).
- Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficient in creating relational database schemas.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
- Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of enterprise-level system design and scalable architecture.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle best practices.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Accountability: Strong personal accountability for decision-making.
