Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Developer with experience in Apache Solr and a solid background in the Cards & Payments domain. This role involves leading technical solutions, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring scalable, high-performing applications that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions using Apache Solr and Lucidworks Fusion.
Supervise coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance and skill development.
Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and other developers to gather and clarify project requirements.
Create and maintain detailed documentation to support long-term knowledge retention and project continuity.
Implement software development best practices including version control, code reviews, and unit testing.
Monitor and improve the scalability, performance, and reliability of deployed solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements or innovations where appropriate.
Participate in project planning activities including estimating, resource planning, and risk assessment.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to overall team success and project alignment.
Qualifications
Strong technical expertise with mandatory hands-on experience in Apache Solr.
Experience with Lucidworks Fusion and Python is desirable.
In-depth domain knowledge in Cards & Payments is highly preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams.
Continuous learning mindset to keep pace with technological advancements.
Proven experience in delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.
Ability to guide and coach junior developers to ensure team skill enhancement.
