The Role
Lead design, development, and delivery of automation test frameworks for next-gen platforms (e.g., computer vision, ML, sensor fusion, reporting, alert management).
Provide technical automation leadership and ensure QA process excellence.
Work on testing N-Tier application services and data platforms in Agile environments.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, document, and maintain tools, test cases, and automation for current/next-gen software.
Collaborate with product, engineering, DevOps, and other teams for release planning.
Interpret functional requirements to create and automate functional and data validation test plans.
Work on TDD/CI/CD development and QA environments in partnership with engineering and infra teams.
Provide feedback to improve platform, application, and data model testability.
Build quality, performance, and reliability into the product from day one.
Ensure effective execution and communication within Agile scrum teams.
Document automation functions, interfaces, test cases, and results for diverse stakeholders.
Estimate effort, plan tasks, and meet project timelines.
Conduct defect management: problem identification, analysis, resolution.
Collaborate closely with dev teams on unit tests, issue resolution, and closure.
Lead/assist in data analysis for data health, consistency, and root cause of issues.
What You’ll Bring
Must Have:
BS in Computer Science or related field (or 7+ years of SDET/technical experience).
5+ years of experience in an OOP language (C# or Java preferred).
Full development lifecycle knowledge: code standards, reviews, source control, build, and testing.
Experience in C# or Java development and testing.
Experience with Appium, Selenium libraries.
Experience designing mobile app tests for iOS and Android.
Proven experience in building/maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
Strong experience with end-to-end test strategies.
Prior Agile experience.
Excellent communication skills across all levels.
Proactive problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux OS).
Knowledge of microservice architecture.
Backend/API testing experience.
Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
