Job Summary:
The role requires deep expertise in endpoint detection and response technologies and anti-virus platforms, with a focus on threat detection, infrastructure security, and policy formulation.
The selected candidate will lead initiatives related to AV/EDR policy design, deployment reference architecture, and proactive threat response planning.
This role is key to shaping and strengthening the company’s endpoint protection strategy and security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design, deployment, and management of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR/ATP) solutions.
Administer and oversee Anti-Virus technologies and integrate them with enterprise infrastructure.
Define and enhance Infrastructure Security using technologies like EDR, AV, Application Control (ACC), File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), and Sandboxing.
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of corporate Security Policies and Standards.
Create and maintain reference architecture documentation for AV/EDR deployments.
Formulate strategic policies and response procedures for advanced threat detection using AV/EDR.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess existing tools, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements in security tools and configurations.
Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the endpoint security domain.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in endpoint security platforms and threat detection technologies.
Expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoints (EDR/ATP).
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Anti-Virus, ACC, FIM, and Sandboxing technologies.
Experience in drafting and implementing security policies and frameworks.
Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and its integration with endpoint protection platforms.
