Your Role: Machine Learning Engineer at Amgen

In this vital role, you will play a key part in Amgen’s regulatory submission content automation initiative, modernizing and digitizing the submission process. You'll use state-of-the-art technologies like Generative AI, Structured Content Management, and integrated data to automate the creation, review, and approval of regulatory content.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy applications using LLMs like OpenAI GPT-4, Claude, Gemini.
Build and maintain MLOps pipelines, including data ingestion, versioning, chunking, vectorization, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Utilize AWS, GCP, Azure for ML model development, training, and deployment.
Implement DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps best practices to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
Develop monitoring systems to track model performance and identify issues.
Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize model performance.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver ML solutions.
Stay updated on the latest ML trends and advancements.

What We Expect From You

Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree with 1-3 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning Engineering OR
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning Engineering OR
Diploma with 7-9 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning Engineering.

Required Skills

Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and techniques.
Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, langchain).
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building custom LLM solutions to meet business needs.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
Experience in data engineering and pipeline development.

Soft Skills
