Key Responsibilities
Automation Development:
Build automation tools using VBA Macros, Python, SQL, and Power BI.
Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts and dashboards.
Problem Solving & Debugging:
Identify bugs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across macros, dashboards, and queries.
Collaborative Development:
Gather requirements and develop iteratively with stakeholder feedback.
Build user-friendly tools that can be easily enhanced over time.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Perform data acquisition, profiling, and trend analysis.
Use visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights.
Generate reports and summaries for management.
Documentation & Process Improvement:
Create clear documentation for all developed tools.
Discover and recommend process improvement opportunities.
Participate in risk assessments for new/updated processes.
Issue Tracking & Workflow Management:
Monitor workflows and ensure timely project/task completion.
Track issues to resolution, often in cross-functional teams.
Skills Required
Must-Have:
VBA for Excel: Intermediate to advanced (UI + backend scripting).
Python: Intermediate to advanced scripting skills.
Microsoft Excel: Advanced level (functions, formulas, automation).
SQL: Basic to intermediate level.
Power BI: Report and dashboard creation experience.
Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar tools.
Software Development: Agile development, iterative design, testing, debugging.
Soft Skills:
Good communication (written & spoken)
