Your Role: Shaping the Future of Safety Platforms
In this critical role, you’ll lead a team dedicated to implementing and enhancing next-gen safety platforms and technologies. You'll collaborate with business users, drive innovation, and improve business outcomes while focusing on team leadership, delivery management, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with IS and Business teams to optimize workflow and automation solutions.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Pharmacovigilance systems and safety databases.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements within safety ecosystems.
- Manage technical implementation across planning, architecture, development, and testing, ensuring compliance with IS Change Control and GxP validation.
- Engage in hands-on programming (SQL/Scripting) and code reviews.
- Ensure applications align with approved architectural and development guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in pharmacovigilance systems.
- Lead technical root cause analysis and collaborate with vendors to resolve system issues.
- Provide mentorship and training to enhance technical and professional skills within the team.
- Support audits and inspections.
What You Bring
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with 4-6 years of experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6-8 years of experience OR
- Diploma with 10-12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and AI/ML advancements.
- 5+ years of experience in COTS Pharmacovigilance Platforms (e.g., Argus) or other safety databases.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, API integrations (MuleSoft), and programming languages (Java, Python).
- Strong understanding of GxP systems, SDLC, data modeling, and change control processes.
- Professional certifications such as SAFe for Teams, SAFe Product Owner, or SAFe Product Manager (preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
