Job Description:
The Modelling Analyst will be integral to various projects, focusing on statistical analysis and modelling to answer client queries. The role involves executing data analyses, applying statistical modelling, and presenting findings in an accessible, business-friendly manner. As the individual gains experience, they will take on more responsibility, working independently on tasks, building relationships with internal stakeholders, and contributing to research and development (R&D) efforts to enhance analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute analyses with high accuracy and on time.
- Manage multiple analyses within projects, identifying efficiencies to improve solutions.
- Conduct standard and non-standard analyses to contribute to proposals and final insights.
- Develop expertise in existing analytical solutions and processes.
- Contribute to R&D initiatives, conducting analyses as planned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Postgraduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Operations Research; Certification in Data Science or Data Analytics is a plus.
- Experience: 0-1 years (freshers are encouraged to apply). Prior experience in market research or FMCG/T&D industries is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques (e.g., Regression, Cluster and Factor analyses, Significance testing).
- Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and VBA for data processing and programming.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
