Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer at NetApp, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality BI solutions. This includes developing multi-dimensional database models (both logical and physical), data marts, data warehousing, data transformations, data analytics, and reporting solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with business users to understand their data needs and translate these into actionable BI systems, helping to optimize data processing and reporting functions across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis:
  Collect and analyze end-user BI requirements to evaluate the feasibility and technical feasibility of these requirements from a data management perspective.

• Data Modeling:
  Design and develop robust data models, ensuring high performance for data mining functions and optimizing them for scalability and efficiency.

• ETL Implementation:
  Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions, identifying and resolving issues related to data quality, data consistency, and related processes.

• Reporting & Visualization:
  Collaborate with the reporting team to design and build effective charts, tables, and dashboards that fulfill business needs. Continuously optimize ETL processes to ensure the data pipeline is smooth and meets the required performance standards.

• Problem Solving:
  Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the BI systems, ensuring that business requirements are met and that data is accurate and reliable.

Education & Qualifications:

• Typically requires no previous professional experience, though a foundational understanding of BI concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes is preferred.
