Role Overview
The company is looking for a multi-skilled Backend + CMS Developer who can work with Node.js, PHP, WordPress, and Shopify. The ideal candidate should have experience in backend development, API integrations, CMS customization, and eCommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and PHP.
Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Set up, configure, and customize Shopify stores and integrate apps.
Create and manage RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to build end-to-end solutions.
Ensure application performance, security, and code quality.
Handle database design and management (preferably MySQL and MongoDB).
Required Skills
1.5 to 2.5 years of experience in Node.js and/or PHP development.
Strong command of custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
Good understanding of Shopify customization and Liquid templating.
Proficiency in REST APIs, authentication, and security best practices.
Familiarity with databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
Experience with Git version control.
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Bonus Skills
Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Laravel, or CodeIgniter.
Exposure to Shopify App Development.
Basic knowledge of React.js or Vue.js.
Understanding of SEO and website performance optimization.
