Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a seasoned JD Edwards (E1) Security and System Administration Lead to oversee and enhance the security, access controls, and overall management of our E1 systems. This role involves implementing role-based access controls, ensuring compliance with segregation of duties (SoD) policies, and continuously monitoring for security threats.
Security and Access Controls: Implement and manage role-based access controls and SoD policies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Security Monitoring: Continuously observe E1 systems for signs of security breaches, unauthorized access attempts, and potential threats. Utilize tools such as AllOut Security and Q Software for incident detection and response.
Collaboration with Audit Teams: Work closely with audit teams to address control deficiencies and ensure timely remediation.
System Configuration: Configure and maintain security settings within JD Edwards, including password policies, authentication methods (SSO, OAuth2, SAML2.0), and data encryption.
Disaster Recovery and Maintenance: Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery plans to achieve Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). Lead system maintenance, upgrades, and the application of OS & WebLogic patches.
Tool and Component Management: Install, implement, and sustain EnterpriseOne components like Oracle WebLogic, E1 JAS-Servers, AIS mobility components, and related deployments. Implement high availability and load balancing using F5.
ERP and Cloud Integration: Implement ERP solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Oracle Cloud Platform) and design JDE automation frameworks using UiPath, Python, and Rundeck.
Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring solutions using tools such as Datadog, HP SiteScope, BPM, BSM, and SolarWinds. Develop ERP Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
Performance Tuning: Lead performance tuning and scalability efforts for JDE applications to support business growth.
Incident Management: Own major incident management with in-depth knowledge of security, administration, and core ERP business processes (Order to Cash, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Transportation).
Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and business teams to support technology initiatives, resolve technical issues, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (e.g., BS Information Systems, BS Computer Science) and relevant certifications in the IT field.
