Job Summary
PayU is hiring a Banking Operations Analyst to support and manage our key banking partnerships and ensure pricing efficiency across all payment methods. As an integral member of the Banking Ops team, you will negotiate with financial institutions, maintain real-time commercial data, and streamline operations to support rapid merchant onboarding and cost management.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with hands-on banking operations experience within the fintech, wallet, or payment aggregator domain.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end relationships with all partner banks, serving as a key point of contact for pricing negotiations and merchant-level MID releases.
Demonstrate working knowledge in merchant acquiring, including cards, UPI, issuing, and net banking.
Act as a secondary contact for all Special Pricing Requests, Sales Priority Requests, and Sales Request Forms for payment method activation.
Maintain a central, real-time repository of bank-wise pricing and commercial agreements.
Validate cost metrics and assist in managing real-time loss alert processes.
Meet Turnaround Time (TAT) targets consistently and ensure SLAs are maintained.
Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements across banking workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a banking operations role within a fintech, aggregator, or wallet company (e.g., Paytm, Razorpay, Cashfree, Instamojo, Mobikwik).
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with internal teams and external banking partners.
Proficient in SQL with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative team player who can share in both success and challenges.
