Role Overview
Join Dell’s IT Software Engineering team to develop, test, and improve software systems ensuring product integrity and customer satisfaction.
You will be involved in cutting-edge performance engineering for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics using advanced technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Work on complex business applications across multiple functional areas.
Gather requirements for performance testing and understand performance-related SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Design workload models and develop performance scripts for testing.
Execute performance tests, analyze results, and identify optimization opportunities.
Essential Requirements
2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in performance engineering or performance coding.
Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
Proficient with performance testing tools such as Neoload or JMeter.
Working knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools, preferably Dynatrace.
Familiarity with DevOps and collaboration tools such as JIRA, GitLab, Splunk, and GitHub.
Desirable Requirements
A full-time Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
