Job Description:
Dell Technologies is seeking a passionate Performance Engineer to join the Software Engineer-IT team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will support performance testing, workload modeling, and application diagnostics to ensure optimal system reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on complex business applications spanning multiple functional areas.
Gather performance testing requirements and define performance SLAs.
Design and implement workload models based on application use cases.
Develop and execute performance test scripts using industry-standard tools.
Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Utilize application monitoring tools to analyze system behavior during test execution.
Candidate Requirements:
2 to 5 years of experience in performance engineering and/or backend coding.
Strong hands-on programming skills using Python or Java.
Experience with performance testing tools such as NeoLoad or JMeter.
Proficiency in APM tools, preferably Dynatrace, for application monitoring.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, GitLab, GitHub, and Splunk.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to system performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Previous exposure to Agile development and DevOps environments.
