As a Data Analyst, your role will be pivotal in helping the business teams make informed, data-driven decisions. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the Business, Product, and Data Engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include:
Gathering Business Requirements:
Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs, identify the underlying business case, and develop generalized data solutions.
Data Extraction & Exploration:
Extract and clean data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Address any data issues, missing values, or anomalies.
Data Insights & Reporting:
Convert cleaned data into actionable insights and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders through reports and dashboards.
Automation:
Automate recurring data tasks to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work with Data Engineering to flag and address data quality issues. Ensure new business requirements are vetted and signed off before implementation.
Knowledge Sharing:
Share insights and best practices within the team and across other departments, ensuring continuous learning and collaboration.
Experience:
1 to 2 years of work experience in a data analyst role, ideally within a consumer-facing company.

Automation Skills:
Basic automation experience using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is a must.

Communication & Data Inquisitiveness:
Strong communication skills for gathering business requirements and sharing insights. A keen curiosity for data, with an ability to dig deeper and uncover trends and patterns.
