Job Summary
Medpace is on the lookout for a talented Power Platform and SharePoint Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop, configure, and maintain solutions on the Power Platform and SharePoint platforms to address business needs. You will play a crucial role in analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure effective platform utilization.
Responsibilities
Power Platform Development:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within Power Platform and SharePoint.
- Customize Power Platform applications to fulfill business requirements.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites and integrations with other systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Systems Analysis:
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and challenges.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and streamline workflows using Power Platform.
- Conduct impact analyses and risk assessments for proposed changes.
Platform Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Power Platform and SharePoint environments.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor platform performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: Strong proficiency in Power Platform development, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Workflows, and Integrations. Experience with SharePoint 2019 services and patching.
- Technical Skills: Preferred experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, PowerShell, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Power BI.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and communication skills.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer, SharePoint Administrator, Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst. Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Certification: Power Platform certification(s) preferred.
