Job Description:
We are looking for Power BI professionals with 2-4 years of experience in Power BI and SQL to join our dynamic team. This role involves:
- Hands-on experience with data source integration, scripting, and advanced visual development in Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in writing complex queries, joins, functions, and procedures.
- Performance tuning of BI reports and writing complex DAX queries.
- Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, Thoughtspot, Cognos, and BOBJ is a plus.
- Knowledge of Role-Based Access and expertise in relational and multidimensional database design.
- Understanding of data modeling techniques for analytical data (Facts, Dimensions, Measures).
- Effective communication with business users and the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and OLAP/OLTP systems.
Required Technical Competencies:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Ability to extract functional and non-functional requirements, document system/software requirements, and conduct impact analysis.
- Application Design: Knowledge of design principles, UI creation, business logic elements, and performance engineering.
- Architecture Tools & Frameworks: Familiarity with industry tools and frameworks for optimal design and architecture.
- Estimation & Resource Planning: Experience with resource planning, estimation techniques, and project tracking.
- Technology/Product Knowledge: Expertise in platform technologies, coding, customization, and solution implementation.
- Customer Management: Ability to articulate technical solutions to clients, build relationships, and suggest innovative solutions.
- Project Management: Knowledge of project scope, customer business domains, and proactive solution implementation.
- Domain/Industry Knowledge: Understanding of business processes, technology platforms, and process improvement initiatives.
