Overview:
Join the AI team at Salesforce and design scalable AI solutions that power products like Agents, Copilots, AI Planners, and RAG solutions. This is a high-impact role involving system design, architecture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product Managers.
Required Qualifications:
14+ years of experience in building highly scalable SaaS applications and platforms
Strong expertise in building technical architectures addressing complex performance challenges
Ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous, and cutting-edge project environments
Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming; proficiency in Java preferred
Mentoring experience and ability to grow engineering teams in architectural thinking
High-level proficiency in web frameworks and languages (NodeJS, Express, Hapi, etc.)
Understanding of web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, Ajax
Strong data modeling experience with RDBMS & NoSQL; SQL & PL/SQL proficiency
Experience delivering or collaborating on scalable AI products
Automated testing experience: Java, JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium
Experience in driving long-term strategies across complex, multi-team projects
Experience in presenting technical reports and industry talks
Strong collaboration and cross-functional resolution capabilities
Proven track record with the full software lifecycle in agile environments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
API development, lifecycle management, and SDK experience
Experience with AI/ML platforms: AWS Sagemaker, Terraform, Spinnaker, EKS, GKE
Familiarity with Predictive and Generative AI and Data Science practices
Knowledge of data pipelines, distributed systems, and data engineering
Experience with CI/CD and service ownership
Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and related technologies
Strong debugging and customer support escalation experience
