Job Overview
The Project Engineer is responsible for designing, defining, and implementing complex system requirements for customer projects.
This role includes system analysis, design specification, and hardware/software compatibility management.
It involves coordinating subsystem design and integrating them into a fully functional system.
The role also includes identifying and resolving technical deficiencies and providing corrective action recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and study existing systems and customer requirements.
Define system specifications including hardware and software integration parameters.
Design subsystems and ensure their integration into the overall system.
Monitor and evaluate the compatibility of input/output processes across hardware and software layers.
Identify program support issues and implement corrective strategies.
Develop and document solutions for system performance improvement.
Coordinate with other engineering and technical teams to execute project goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and testing methodologies.
Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications and system requirements.
Experience with hardware/software compatibility and industrial automation systems.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in oil and gas industry automation systems.
Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols.
Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
