Job Role: Project Engineer
Reporting To: Project Engineer Lead
As a Project Engineer at Sensia, you will play a crucial role in the design, configuration, documentation, and testing of Metering Computer and Control Systems for oil and gas applications. You will also be involved in commissioning, peer review, and client interactions when necessary.
Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and coordinate assigned engineering work in accordance with contract documentation.
Develop all required engineering documents such as SBD, FDS, ATM, OMM, SAT, Loop Diagrams, and General Arrangements.
Create or modify Metering Computer or Supervisory configurations based on your technical qualifications.
Independently manage engineering execution on smaller projects.
Review and verify technical outputs of peers, if qualified to do so.
Interpret and apply client specifications, engineering practices, and codes to deliver accurate technical results.
Ensure all documents are submitted and archived according to document control procedures.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and host client witness sessions.
Log and track technical issues in the Systems Problem Reports (SPR) database.
Implement change control with proper notification to project leads before executing changes.
Participate in technical meetings with clients and vendors to meet project goals.
Provide technical assistance during sales and bidding, including tender support and exceptions documentation.
Comply with Sensia’s QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental) standards.
Follow company-standard procedures and workflows throughout project lifecycle.
Carry out additional responsibilities as required by the project or company.

Qualifications and Experience
Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience (HNC/HND acceptable).
Experience in control systems or metering software development (configuration and programming).
Familiarity with platforms such as Emerson, Omni, FlowX, EXI, Honeywell (DCS/MeterSuite), PLC, CiTECT, and GeM.
Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects in the oil and gas sector.
Previous experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
