Job Role: Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer at Sensia, you will lead automation system development for oil and gas projects. This includes everything from initial design to commissioning and offshore support.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot industrial automation systems including Rockwell Automation platforms.
Prepare and update technical documentation related to software, instrumentation, and system architecture.
Program, test, and deploy software for process control, HMI, and safety systems.
Design and analyze moderate to complex automation system architectures.
Execute offshore field services, including commissioning/start-up, systems testing, and on-site client support.
Gather system requirements and develop detailed engineering designs.
Ensure smooth project execution from development to commissioning, according to Sensia standards.
Required Qualifications
Degree or technical certification in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electronics, or Electrical disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation projects, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
Proven hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation products such as
Previous experience in the field installation and commissioning of automation systems.
Strong understanding of HMI, instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols.
Valid CREA certification.
Fluency in English (verbal and written).
Residency in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) or nearby region.
Additional Requirements
Availability to work offshore on a rotation of 14/21 days depending on the project.
Comfortable working under high-pressure environments.
Availability for frequent travel to customer locations.
Ability to interface professionally and confidently with clients during on-site work.
