Role Overview:
Dell Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join its dynamic Messaging Platform Automation team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain microservices and backend applications using Python, enabling automation and enhancing efficiency across cloud-based services such as RabbitMQ and Kafka. You’ll play a key role in delivering PaaS capabilities that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust Python-based microservices and RESTful APIs.
Automate backend workflows and administrative platform functions.
Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) to build reusable and modular code.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests using tools like pytest or unittest.
Integrate applications with relational databases and optimize SQL queries.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD processes.
Participate in debugging and troubleshooting across complex environments.
Technical Requirements:
Proficient in Python and web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Solid knowledge of OOP and Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
Experience with CI/CD tools and modern DevOps practices.
Skilled in writing optimized SQL queries and working with relational databases.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to message queue systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
