Job Description:
EduGorilla is seeking a Python/Django Developer to join their team to develop advanced features and troubleshoot backend technologies. This role requires expertise in Python and at least one Python web framework like Django, as well as experience with database management and debugging.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop advanced features on EduGorilla's proprietary backend technologies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing services.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Hold technical team meetings with freshers to determine progress and address project challenges.
- Ensure all project releases are done on time and with the highest quality.
- Manage emails of incoming bug reports and feature requests.
- Collaborate with department heads to achieve common goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Expert in Python with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of at least one Python web framework (Tornado, Django, Flask).
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to create optimal relational database schemas.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level system designs and scalable architecture.
- Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making.
