Helioster is seeking a motivated Python API Development Intern with a strong foundation in Python programming and experience in API creation and integration. You will work closely with our development team to assist in building and maintaining RESTful API functionalities using FastAPI or Flask frameworks. Knowledge of machine learning is an advantage.
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
Integrate third-party APIs and develop internal API connections.
Support debugging and optimization tasks to improve API performance and reliability.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth backend integration.
Participate in code reviews and help maintain best practices in API development.
Optionally apply machine learning knowledge to support the development of intelligent features.
Proficiency in Python programming with basic experience in API development (preferably FastAPI or Flask).
Understanding of RESTful API principles and practical experience in API creation and integration.
Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git.
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in API creation and integration with front-end applications.
