Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer with hands-on experience in UI/API Testing and a strong understanding of testing processes and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test case management, defect reporting, and tracking. This role will require a deep passion for quality and an analytical mindset to ensure high standards of software quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Testing Process & Methodologies:
- Work with the team to define and execute test strategies and ensure thorough testing of applications.
- Ensure that testing follows established processes, standards, and best practices.

Test Case Management & Execution:
- Develop, review, and manage test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Execute test cases for UI and API testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functional areas.

Defect Reporting & Tracking:
- Identify, document, and report defects found during testing.
- Track defect resolution progress and verify fixes during retesting.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

SQL Server:
- Use SQL Server to validate data, run queries, and perform backend testing as part of the testing process.

UI & API Testing:
- Perform testing of user interfaces (UI) and APIs to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
- Use tools and scripts to automate testing where necessary.
Additional Skills (Good to Have):

Test Automation using Selenium:
- Experience with Selenium or other automation testing tools is a plus.

Agile Methodology:
- Familiarity with Agile practices and working in an Agile environment.

ISTQB Certification:
- ISTQB Certification is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of software testing principles.
