Role Summary
As QA Engineering Manager III, you will lead and develop a high-performing QA team in delivering state-of-the-art analytics engines including computer vision, sensor fusion, and cloud-based vehicle event analysis systems.
What You’ll Do
Interact directly with customers to gather feedback and translate it into technical strategies.
Lead cross-functional QA initiatives and collaborate with SQA and other engineering leads.
Identify and escalate risks appropriately to technology leadership.
Mentor team members and improve organizational collaboration and effectiveness.
Design, document, and implement QA process control and CI/CD procedures.
Define and monitor metrics to ensure product quality and operational effectiveness.
Build new test frameworks and applications to support automation and manual testing.
Think strategically to contribute to short-term and long-term QA strategies.
Oversee the complete software QA lifecycle—from concept through maintenance.
Provide technical recommendations, time estimates, and solution strategies.
Align automation strategies with organization-wide quality goals.
Guide identification of test cases suitable for automation.
Foster a dynamic and rewarding work environment for QA teams.
Attract, hire, and retain top QA talent aligned with business and tech needs.
What You’ll Bring
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3–5 years as a QA Manager or 1+ year as a Senior SQA Manager in an agile setup.
Proven experience designing and leading enterprise-scale QA frameworks and strategies.
Deep understanding of QA principles, test case design, and automation methodologies.
Strong communication skills to influence teams across functions and geographies.
Proficiency in tools like Selenium, TestNG, API testing tools, and load testing tools.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking (e.g., Rally) and test management tools (e.g., qTest).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins or equivalent.
Experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and Test Driven Development (TDD).
Passion for clean coding practices and technical mentorship.
Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.
Ability to drive change and lead teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
