Job Description
Join a leading food manufacturing plant as a Quality Analyst Intern and work closely with QA and QC teams to ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Quality Data Analysis
- Collect, compile, and analyze production and quality data.
- Identify trends to recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of quality metrics and deviations.

Process Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor production processes for adherence to SOPs.
- Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to supervisors.
- Track corrective actions and evaluate effectiveness.

Product Testing
- Test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Verify product labels and packaging compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support shelf-life and sensory evaluation tests.

Audit and Compliance Support
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits (e.g., FDA, HACCP, ISO).
- Review documentation to ensure quality compliance.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols.

Problem Solving and Improvements
- Collaborate on resolving quality issues.
- Recommend improvements based on analysis and research.
- Document and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
Qualifications
- Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, FSMA) and statistical analysis.
Key Skills
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data and suggest improvements.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in testing and documentation.
- Communication: Prepare concise reports and share findings effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Excel, statistical tools (e.g., Minitab), and lab testing equipment.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate across functions.
