Job Summary
Join Cognizant’s growing tech team as a React JS Developer. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates with 0–3 years of experience in front-end web development, particularly in React.js. You will contribute to the development of user-friendly web applications that enhance user experience and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modern, high-performance web applications using React JS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable front-end code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Debug and resolve issues across browsers and platforms.
Build reusable UI components and implement UI functionality using Redux or other state management workflows.
Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness on various devices.
Participate in code reviews to maintain team coding standards.
Stay updated with front-end trends, tools, and best practices.
Collaborate with back-end teams for seamless API integrations.
Assist in UI/UX design feasibility assessments and provide technical feedback.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for application users.
Maintain proper documentation and participate in Agile development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in React JS and its core principles
Strong command of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Understanding of popular workflows like Redux or Context API
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integration
Experience with version control tools like Git
Basic understanding of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
Passion for clean code and responsive UI design
Nice to Have
Experience with TypeScript
Exposure to front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
Awareness of accessibility and UI/UX best practices
Certifications Preferred
Certified React Developer
JavaScript Certification (optional but advantageous)
