RUST Support SME

Job Summary
We are seeking a RUST Support SME with 5 to 7 years of experience in RUST development and support. The candidate should be skilled in debugging and analyzing AWS cloud-based applications developed in RUST. The role also requires good communication skills and the ability to lead discussions with customers. A background in the retail domain and familiarity with support processes is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level support and debugging for AWS cloud-based applications written in RUST.
Lead discussions and coordination with customers for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Analyze incidents, problems, and participate in change implementations in production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve application-related issues.
Document resolutions, processes, and provide inputs for continuous improvements.
Optionally contribute to development tasks and enhancements.
Stay up-to-date with latest tools, debugging techniques, and language updates.
Must-Have Skills
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Rust programming language.
Proficiency in debugging and analyzing AWS-based cloud applications/integrations.
5 to 7 years of combined support and development experience in RUST.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead customer discussions.
Good-to-Have Skills
Domain knowledge in Retail, especially around foundation data like item, pricing, and inventory.
Familiarity with ITIL support processes – incident management, problem analysis, change implementation.
Basic understanding or exposure to other programming languages like React JS, .NET Core, and Python.
