About the Role:

As a SAP PP/QM Analyst, you will be an essential part of a global SAP team, working across regions including India, Europe, and North America. Your primary focus will be on supporting the Pharmaceutical Services Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, providing high-quality services, implementing innovative SAP solutions, and ensuring stability for enterprise applications. This role offers valuable exposure to S/4 HANA and provides opportunities to enhance both technical and soft skills in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the SAP Core team, providing functional support for SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP QM (Quality Management), including both project work and production support.
• Provide accurate estimates for configuration and unit testing activities in project initiatives.
• Design and configure solutions in the Production Planning/Quality Management modules across multiple SAP environments.
• Support production planning interfaces, collaborating with technical team members to integrate legacy and third-party systems using techniques such as LSMW, BAPI, IDOC, RFC calls, BDC, and call transaction updates.
• Collaborate with technical team members to optimize program performance, applying SAP OSS notes as needed.
• Write detailed functional specifications and user documentation for customized programs.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, keeping management informed of project statuses and resolving any issues that may impact project timelines.
• Participate in off-hours meetings and other assigned tasks as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in SAP PP/QM within SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4 HANA environments.
• Experience working with multi-functional SAP modules, including PP/QM, MM/WM, and SD.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand customer business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team, thriving in high-pressure environments with shifting priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Relevant SAP technical certifications are a plus.
• Experience with at least one full-cycle SAP implementation.
• Familiarity with NetWeaver 7.0 and PP/DS is advantageous.
• Experience with BI (Business Intelligence) tools is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Solution Manager-Charm for transport management.
• Familiarity with ITSM systems such as ServiceNow or SolarWinds.
