Minimum Experience: 2 years
Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education
Summary:
As a Security Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to design and implement security measures that protect our enterprise systems and data. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, conducting security assessments, and implementing robust security protocols to defend against cyber threats.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work independently and establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Actively participate in team discussions, contributing solutions to security challenges.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Implement security measures and conduct assessments to safeguard against cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
- Assist in incident response and recovery efforts.
- Provide security training and awareness programs to educate staff on best practices.
- Design and implement security controls and technologies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Monitor security logs and alerts to identify and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with external vendors to enhance security capabilities.
- Contribute to the improvement of security processes and procedures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud Key Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python, Google BigQuery, Google Looker Data Platform.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with security technologies and tools.
- Knowledge of network security protocols and cloud security concepts.
- Understanding of encryption algorithms and cryptographic protocols.
- Experience in security incident response and forensic investigations.
Additional Information:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Google Cloud Key Management is required.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full-time education is mandatory.
