To prepare test cases and perform testing of products, platforms, or solutions.
Ensure 100% compliance with quality assurance parameters before deployment at the client site.
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber frameworks.
Understand and implement full-stack test automation in a banking domain environment.
Apply strong knowledge of Core Java for test logic development and script maintenance.
Query databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and HIVE using SQL for data validation.
Automate middleware systems involving message queues and file-based interfaces.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GIT or Bitbucket.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and test coverage.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
Document test cases, execution logs, and defect reports clearly.
Keep up-to-date with emerging automation tools and testing trends.
Domain experience in banking and financial systems.
Strong Core Java programming and automation testing fundamentals.
Proficient in SQL for database testing across multiple DBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, HIVE).
Hands-on experience with Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber frameworks.
Basic UNIX scripting for task scheduling and automation.
Knowledge of configuration management tools like GIT or BitBucket.
Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Exposure to big data platforms and technologies.
Experience in automating middleware systems.
Familiarity with enterprise CI/CD and test reporting tools.
Test Coverage – Automated and manual test case completion percentage.
