Role Overview
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will join Finastra’s Payment Services Strategy & Architecture team.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality AI applications.
This role requires hands-on involvement in model development, testing, deployment, and integration with business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in software design discussions and understand user requirements.
Design and build AI/ML-based solutions using modern frameworks and architectures.
Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and integrate with external data sources using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
Debug, test, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow software development lifecycle standards and best practices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support product releases and address program challenges.
Contribute to various AI projects and initiatives as assigned.
Technical Requirements
Strong development experience in Python with ML libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.
Experience fine-tuning LLMs such as LLaMA or Gemma.
Proficiency with RAG, knowledge retrieval systems, and LLM integration.
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
Knowledge of cloud-based AI model deployment and scalability.
Familiarity with financial systems and the financial services domain is preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in software development, ideally with AI/ML specialization.
Solid grasp of transformer-based NLP techniques and architectures.
Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication.
Ability to solve moderately complex technical issues independently.
Effective communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a team-oriented or independent environment.
