Job Summary
PayU is hiring a Senior Analyst – Financial Operations to join our growing team in Bengaluru. If you’re experienced in payment settlements, merchant onboarding, reconciliation processes, and managing Visa/MasterCard operations, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of India’s top fintech innovators.
As a Senior FinOps Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions while supporting critical daily operations across acquiring, onboarding, and reconciliation.
About the Team
The Financial Operations team is responsible for managing and optimizing the backend financial processes that support PayU’s day-to-day activities.
The team works across departments including tech, product, and operations to ensure seamless execution and accuracy in financial settlements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily Visa/MasterCard settlement reconciliations.
Manage acquiring settlement, payment gateway operations, merchant onboarding, and internal reconciliation processes.
Respond promptly to queries related to merchant settlements, integrations, and onboarding.
Handle daily file generation and batch runs for settlement processing.
Ensure regular reconciliation of settlement suspense accounts and drive resolution of outstanding entries.
Work on merchant integrations and APIs (PG, MPI, Merchant APIs).
Ensure that reconciliation and onboarding SOPs are well-documented and maintained.
Monitor daily system reports to ensure reconciliation accuracy and detect anomalies in bank transfers.
Maintain a basic understanding of acquiring disputes and support issue resolutions.
Ensure that all operational tasks are completed within defined SLAs and customer queries are resolved timely.
Be flexible to work in rotational shifts as per business needs.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in financial operations, particularly in acquiring and reconciliation processes.
Experience in banking domain (cards division) is an added advantage.
Required Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Ability to handle large volumes of data with accuracy.
Strong problem-solving mindset with an ability to work independently and within teams.
