Job Description

• Data Warehouse Management: Design, deploy, and manage data warehouse solutions to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of large volumes of data.
• Performance & Security: Maintain the data warehouse’s performance, security, and scalability in alignment with business needs.
• Data Pipelines: Build and manage robust data pipelines to extract data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and log files.
• Data Transformation: Clean, enrich, and transform raw data to make it suitable for analysis.
• ETL Processes: Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for efficient data movement from source systems to the data warehouse.
• Integration: Integrate data warehouse solutions with ERP platforms and other cloud-based systems to enhance data visibility and streamline data exchange.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models that support efficient data querying and analysis.
• Collaboration: Work with data scientists and analysts to ensure data models meet analytical requirements.
• Data Governance: Implement data quality checks and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the data infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data processing and storage.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in managing data warehouses, developing data pipelines, building ETL processes, integrating with ERP platforms, and creating data models.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) for data manipulation and scripting.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake) and related services.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
