Your Role: Senior Associate Engineer - EM

As a Senior Associate Engineer, you will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations, manage supplier performance, and contribute to key technical discussions. You will be responsible for handling tasks ranging from order compilation to supplier visits and supporting the industrialization of new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile weekly pending orders of manufacturing suppliers and ensure delivery dates are met.
  • Schedule supplier visits and represent T1 & T2 GEMBA for the department.
  • Coordinate with business partners in CFT (Cross-Functional Team) for technical discussions.
  • Handle rework and modifications for standard/custom systems parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Participate in periodic audits of manufacturing suppliers with SQA and close relevant points.
  • Maintain supplier delivery performance, ensuring over 95% quality.
  • Support the implementation and sustainability of VMI at supplier premises.
  • Assist the industrialization team in the development of parts for new projects.
  • Ensure on-time completion of all assigned custom and engineered products, from simple to complex.

Strategic Impact

  • Lead complex transfer projects and manage New Product Development.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality control, purchasing, and procurement teams.
  • Maintain professional relationships with suppliers.

Candidate’s Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed college.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in machining metal and plastic parts, fabrication, and welding of stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, with expertise in GD&T and manufacturing concepts.
  • Experience working in reputed engineering or pharma industries, preferably MNCs.
  • Experience managing a small team is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP (MM Module) and basic knowledge of Visio, Excel, MS Word, etc.
