Job Description

• Cloud Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on the SAP BTP platform using SAP Cloud Platform tools and technologies such as SAPUI5, Fiori, JavaScript, and Java.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and create technical specifications for new applications and enhancements.
• System Integration: Integrate SAP BTP applications with various SAP and non-SAP systems using technologies such as OData, REST, and SOAP.
• Extensions and Add-Ons: Develop and maintain SAP BTP extensions and add-ons for existing SAP solutions, including S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
• Best Practices: Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in SAP BTP development, including compliance with SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
• Application Security: Implement application security using SAP BTP services like SAP Cloud Identity, Single Sign-On, and OAuth 2.0.
• Testing: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed applications.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application development, deployment, and operation.
• Documentation: Provide comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications, including design documents, user guides, and troubleshooting guides.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP BTP and recommend new technologies and tools for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in developing applications on the SAP BTP platform with expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori, JavaScript, and Java.
• Integration Technologies: Knowledge of integration technologies such as OData, REST, and SOAP.
• SAP Solutions: Familiarity with SAP solutions like S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and other cloud-based applications.
• SAP BTP Services: Strong understanding of SAP BTP services including SAP Cloud Identity, Single Sign-On, and OAuth 2.0.
• Development Methodologies: Proficiency in software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Additional Skills: Experience with other programming languages (e.g., ABAP, Python, Node.js), knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence, and familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes are a plus.
