Job Description:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for performing complex data abstraction and entry, supporting disease-specific project requirements. The role involves working closely with teams to ensure quality assurance and timely reporting while maintaining a high level of expertise in medical terminology and data capture systems. You will contribute to team meetings, ensure accuracy in data management, and assist with special projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Curation: Perform complex data abstraction, interpretation, and entry for specified disease and project needs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy meets minimum quality levels, consistently complying with QA plans. Actively reconcile errors based on feedback from Quality Analysts.
- Special Projects: Lead or participate in special projects or client-specific initiatives.
- Security Responsibilities: Adhere to security protocols, including ensuring systems are locked when not in use and safeguarding sensitive data.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate/PG in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy (BSc/MSc).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in data abstraction, with hands-on computer skills.
- Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
