Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Core Data Science team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying machine learning solutions that directly influence our data-driven products and services. This is not an entry-level role; we are looking for candidates with extensive hands-on production experience in machine learning and MLOps.
Key Responsibilities
Own the design, implementation, and deployment of machine learning algorithms using Python in a modern cloud environment.
Develop and release new capabilities for user interaction with data assets using APIs and modern frameworks.
Write accessible, high-quality code with automated CI/CD practices (build, test, deploy).
Visualize and present analytical results and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Work in agile teams and adapt to dynamic requirements.
Be a champion of a data-first culture across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative/applied field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, etc.).
Minimum 5 years of experience in real-world ML development and production deployment.
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts: statistics, probability, feature engineering, supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and A/B testing.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Working knowledge of Spark, web services, and RESTful APIs.
Cloud experience with platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Snowflake.
Solid teamwork skills with the ability to deliver impactful solutions from the ground up.
Effective communication skills, especially in remote work environments.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Familiarity with SAS.
Understanding of master data management (MDM) concepts.
Exposure to CI/CD practices and DevOps pipelines.
A GitHub or GitLab portfolio showcasing data science and ML projects.
