Role Overview
As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics Developer, you will be instrumental in Solera’s global ERP transformation, migrating from AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions that enhance business operations and system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop custom applications/modules within Dynamics 365 F&O.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
Write and maintain efficient, scalable, and clean code using X++, C#, .NET, and other relevant technologies.
Customize existing modules and introduce new features to improve system performance and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve D365 FO-related issues while ensuring business continuity.
Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure solution stability and reliability.
Provide technical support and mentoring to peers and end-users.
Stay current with new features and trends in Dynamics 365 F&O and participate in continuous improvement.
Document technical processes, code specifications, and best practices.
Contribute to code reviews and promote development standards within the team.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Dynamics 365 F&O and AX 2012 development.
Technical Skills: Expertise in X++, C#, .NET, and knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based solutions.
Finance Modules: Familiarity with finance modules in Dynamics 365 and AX 2012.
Development Practices: Experience with Agile, DevOps, and modern development methodologies.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills—able to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate.
Integration Experience: Familiarity with Data Management Framework, Logic Apps, and Power Platform.
ERP Best Practices: Deep understanding of ERP systems, industry trends, and innovation opportunities.
