Role Summary

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will take ownership of all technical elements of metering/sampling system projects—ensuring design excellence, cost-efficiency, compliance with international standards, and timely execution. This role offers a blend of engineering leadership, project execution, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the end-to-end technical management of assigned metering/sampling system projects.

  2. Translate customer specifications and international standards into effective engineering solutions.

  3. Design cost-effective, technically sound solutions that meet contractual requirements.

  4. Develop technical requisitions and procurement packages for fabrication and instrumentation.

  5. Oversee system testing, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), ensuring quality and compliance.

  6. Direct mechanical and electrical designers to produce accurate project documentation.

  7. Interface with vendors and clients to secure system approvals and handle technical discussions.

  8. Support internal project management, quality inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance.

  9. Assist sales and proposals teams with technical input, costing, and bid support.

  10. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Engineering knowledge is a plus).

  2. Proven experience designing and delivering skid-mounted packages, ideally in oil & gas.

  3. Strong understanding of flow measurement systems and equipment integration.

  4. Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, ASME IX, API, ISO, NORSOK, PED/PER).

  5. Experience in mechanical layout design and interpreting complex specifications.

  6. Knowledge of metering, proving, and sampling systems.

  7. Proficiency in MS Office tools including MS Project.

  8. Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015 QMS environment.

  9. Understanding of ATEX/IECEX standards for hazardous area equipment.

  10. Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  11. Team-oriented mindset with ability to lead cross-functional coordination.
