Job Summary
ZS is hiring a Senior Security Awareness & Training Associate to join our global Information Security team in Pune, India. In this role, you'll develop and implement high-impact security awareness programs and campaigns that build a security-first culture across ZS’s global workforce.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, Information Security experts, and communications teams to plan, execute, and measure employee training, phishing simulations, and awareness campaigns. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to develop engaging security awareness content and campaigns.
Support the annual refresh of ZS’s global security training program based on NIST800-50 and other regulatory standards.
Execute and distribute repeatable, interactive security training content to ZS employees worldwide.
Work with Information Security leads to design impactful awareness initiatives.
Assist in creating the annual mandatory information security training in coordination with the Data Privacy team.
Plan and run monthly phishing simulations to assess and improve employee responses.
Promote awareness campaigns across internal ZS platforms with the help of IS and communication teams.
Track the effectiveness of initiatives using data analytics and recommend improvements.
Mentor ZS’s global ambassadors participating in the awareness program.
Continuously improve training strategies, update content, and lead feedback-based surveys.
Support various ad-hoc awareness and training projects as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (preferred).
3–5 years of relevant experience in information security awareness, employee training, or cybersecurity communications.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex security concepts.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Familiarity with security best practices, phishing threats, and risk mitigation.
Experience creating and executing training programs (mandatory or voluntary).
Proficient in using LMS platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Trello, or other awareness/training tools.
Collaborative mindset with experience working in diverse, global teams.
Analytical skills to evaluate the success of training campaigns.
Ability to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders globally.
Creative thinking and detail-oriented approach to content development and campaign execution.
