Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience in Hardware Architecture. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize software solutions that integrate seamlessly with hardware components. A deep understanding of hardware-software interaction is essential to ensure high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Over 10 years of experience in PCB design, including high-speed digital and mixed-signal designs.
- Expertise in high-speed mixed-signal design, power board and RF board design, including single, double, multilayer, and flex PCBs.
- Design and develop complex multilayer PCBs for electronic products, focusing on signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.
- Create and manage PCB footprints and symbols, and oversee library deliverables. Take ownership of schematic design, multi-layer PCB layout, and BOM generation up to Gerber release.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand design requirements and constraints.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and industry standards.
- Apply knowledge of PCB DFM, DFA, and best design practices.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure a smooth transition from design to production.
- Conduct design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback and analysis.
- Proficient in PCB design software such as Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, PADS Layout, CAM350, and HyperLynx for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Stay updated on the latest PCB design tools, technologies, and industry trends.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Bachelor's degree, B.Tech, or Diploma in Electronics and Communication or Electronics.
Certifications Required
- Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)
- Certified Hardware Engineer (CHE)
