Role: Lead Software Engineer – Commercial Solutions

Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Engineering: Design and develop robust microservices and web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
Digital Transformation: Contribute to Mastercard's digital journey by building scalable, secure, and performant B2B solutions.
Cloud-Native Architecture: Implement cloud-first applications with emphasis on automation, security, and continuous delivery.
Agile Collaboration: Work in cross-functional Agile teams, driving innovation in a high-performance tech culture.
Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, guide solution architecture, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.
Product Ownership: Collaborate with product and business teams to align solutions with strategic goals and user requirements.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
7+ years of full-stack development experience in enterprise-scale applications.
Hands-on experience with:
Java / Spring Boot (or similar backend frameworks)
Frontend frameworks like Angular or React
RESTful API design and implementation
RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and agile development methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
