As a Senior Software Engineer, you will transform customer needs into scalable products using deep technical expertise in software application layer solutions.
You will lead and collaborate within a high-performing engineering team to build, maintain, and enhance robust web applications and APIs.
Your role includes continuous learning, adopting new technologies, and mentoring junior developers while delivering best-in-class ServiceNow implementations.
Design, develop, deploy, and enhance web applications and REST APIs as part of an agile team.
Customize user interfaces and apply responsive design using web development technologies.
Implement and customize features for ServiceNow platforms using best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
Utilize automation and integration features on ServiceNow to fulfill end-user needs.
Build scalable microservices hosted on AWS or PCF to expose business capabilities.
Work from a prioritized backlog to meet customer goals and design standards.
Use CI/CD tools for zero-downtime deployments with fast recovery.
Maintain and update build and deployment scripts for continuous delivery.
Diagnose production incidents, analyze performance issues, and support capacity modeling.
Monitor real-time dashboards for customer experience, security, and performance improvement.
Provide technical insights for effort estimation, risk assessment, and functional design.
Report project status, blockers, and issues to team leads proactively.
Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing.
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Expertise in ServiceNow integrations, orchestration, and administration.
Ability to develop ServiceNow components like Script Includes, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Update Sets, and Import Sets.
Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, portals, and ATF tool.
Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Knowledge of networking or telecom assurance domains.
Certifications in ServiceNow, AWS, PCF, or related cloud technologies.
