Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) securing applications across all major cloud providers.
Defender for Cloud integrates development security operations (DevSecOps), cloud security posture management (CSPM), and cloud workload protection platform (CWPP) to prevent breaches and block real-time cyber-attacks worldwide.

Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on technical experience working on large-scale production systems.
Proficiency in cloud programming environments and modern architectures.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills; team-oriented mindset.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality engineering.
Ability to independently progress through ambiguous or unsolved problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Security or Cybersecurity domains.
Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
Knowledge of .NET/C#.
Experience working with Azure cloud environments.
Familiarity with application and system monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
Collaborate within an infrastructure software engineering team to design, build, and maintain tools that enhance developer productivity and organizational operations.
Work closely with multiple Microsoft teams to deliver key customer solutions and related technologies.
Engage in the full lifecycle of services: inception, design, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.
Analyze complex system behavior, performance bottlenecks, and application issues.
Apply modern software engineering practices to streamline deployments, reduce costs, and improve reliability and availability.
Provide guidance and training on integration, testing, monitoring, and security across diverse technology stacks.
Contribute actively to a collaborative and agile culture that fosters team success and innovation.
