The E+D Growth Team drives user and customer base growth to fulfill Microsoft’s mission of empowering every person and organization on the planet.
They use Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies across Microsoft 365, Windows, and other products to improve engagement, retention, and acquisition.
The team works with diverse markets including consumers and businesses of all sizes.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help define and deliver PLG strategies, crafting AI-powered experiences relied on by hundreds of millions of users.
You will focus on adoption and monetization of Microsoft 365 Copilot via experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
The role involves building new experiences, running experiments, and shipping impactful product features.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 7+ years of technical engineering experience coding in one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and meet security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree + 8+ years coding experience OR
Master’s Degree + 6+ years coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for scenarios.
Identify dependencies and develop design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
Write, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, and ROI.
Use subject-matter expertise to drive project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with project managers and partners.
Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding engineers and monitoring systems for issues; initiate remediation actions when necessary.
Continuously learn new trends, technologies, and best practices to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance.
Drive operational consistency and scalability in monitoring and system operations.
