Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications within the Payments and Financial services domain.
The role requires technical depth, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
This position is based in Pune and reports to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in design meetings and analyze user needs to determine software requirements.
Develop and maintain high-quality, clean, and scalable code.
Conduct testing, debugging, and resolution of application issues.
Follow the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Interact with internal stakeholders to support product releases and resolve problems.
Contribute to additional assignments and cross-functional initiatives.
Technical Requirements
6–10 years of hands-on experience in software design and development.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, CI/CD, and SQL.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, and CSS.
Experience in the financial services industry and Global PayPlus (GPP) is preferred.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and SDLC.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to analyze, solve, and independently handle technical issues of moderate complexity.
Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
