Job Overview
As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions. You will be responsible for functional, regression, and post-release testing by working closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, and developers to write, execute, and maintain test cases and troubleshoot complex software issues.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze system specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to design and build test plans.
Write and execute detailed functional and regression test cases.
Configure systems with test/simulated data for real-world testing environments.
Create clear and concise test logs and documentation for defects and test phases.
Report and track bugs and errors using test management tools.
Troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
Perform post-implementation and post-release testing to ensure product quality.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Work in an Agile development environment and contribute to sprint planning and QA retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong background in manual and automated testing.
Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, bug reports, and documentation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
Ability to understand and test complex enterprise-level systems.
Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience in configuring test data and simulating real-world environments.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a collaborative attitude.
